Story's review with some spoilers

    Captain Robert Walton, an arctic explorer, found a curious lonely man on a slide of ice during his journey to discover the North Pole. He save him and the man decide to join them to their journey. Then, Captain Robert and he start to talk about their lives.

   Introduce as Victor Frankenstein of Geneva, starts to tell his story to the Captain. He came from a family of two brothers, Ernest and William, and an adopted girl named Elizabeth Lavenza. Since boy, he always proves to be more ambitious than the other children. Sharing his youth with his best friend, Henry Clerval.

    At age of seventeen, he would be preparing himself to go to university when a disease was liable to take Elizabeth. Worried, he went to look after her until she was better. Unfortunately, his mother got sick too and died shortly after that, along with her last wish that Victor and Elizabeth would marry.

   After the death of his mother, Victor travel without his friend Clerval to university in Ingolstadt. There he met a chemistry professor named Mr. Waldman, who show Victor to aspire more to do for the chemistry future.

    His obsession about discover something new in the chemistry’s area leads him to believe that he can´t trust in anyone, and getting away from people in his laboratory, he begins to have dialogues with himself about life and death, asking himself he could give it somehow.

     Victor worked hard for a long time investigating thoroughly and collecting instruments for his project that would end the death itself. He spent a lot of time doing that until finally, a dark November night, he succeeded. Victor was so horrified of his work that he tried to escape in the dream subreality. But what he didn't know was that his nightmare would haunt him all his life.

    Frankenstein ills and fortunately, his friend is there to take care of him, giving back the love for life that Victor has lost time ago.

    Much better now, he receives a letter from his family telling him how life has been since he left, wishing him better health and waiting for him to write them soon. Clerval and Victor return to college, when suddenly, one day, and a letter from Elizabeth arrives announcing that her young brother had been murdered.       Immediately, he took the decision to return to Geneva with his family.

    On his way to home, Victor decides to walk through the forest of his house’s garden when suddenly he saw the monster there. Immediately he knew that he had be blame for the death of his brother.

    Arriving home, Elizabeth tells him that there was evidence against one of their friend. Justine evidently for both of them was innocent. Unfortunately, the law wanted someone to condemn and Justine paid that injustice, Victor couldn’t tell the truth about the monster.

"I had only wanted to make myself useful. Now my work had destroyed that hope"

    After that, Victor decides to go to Charmonix where he thinks to clear his thoughts of what had happened in the last days. And while he was wrapped in his thoughts, the monster appears, forcing Victor to listen to his story.

   Sad and lonely, he traveled to many places and met many people, always learning from them. But despite his desire to be part of the world reject him and felt overwhelmed by his company/presence.  He just wanted to be happy.

     Angry and lonely, he decides to destroy the men who created him and, without controlling his violent anger the monster killed Frankenstein´s brother, William.  For the first time the monster didn’t regret about his actions and was satisfice with his work.

    The monster insolently orders Frankenstein to make a female for him so that together they comfort their sadness against the world and live happy together. Victor tries to tries to refuse but the monster threatens to harm his family. Victor thinks it twice and finally decides to accept the monsters demand with fear.

    Convinced of the terrible danger that he and his family have, Victor starts his journey to Scottish but close to finishing his second creation he realizes his great mistake and what could cause to bring another monster to the world,  and he destroys the female forever. Angry, the monster threat to Victor again. Scare, Frankenstein destroy his diary and escapes on a boat through the sea.

     In the morning, he arrives in Ireland’s coast, but there the people didn’t receive him like a castaway, they received him like a murder. Soon, Frankenstein discovers that Clerval is death and was monster’s fault.

   Months later, his wife dies too in hands of the monster, getting Victor to start taking drastic measures. Victor starts to follow his monster everywhere.  Until one day, when he was thought Ice Mountains, a sledge of ice broke up with him on. And there is when he saw Walton’s ship

   During his stay on the ship, Victor gets sick… and when he finally died, the monster appears in at the foot of Frankenstein’s bed, excusing him to Walton  that their crimes were the result of his unhappiness.
